This is a dog bandana which I created by dying calico to get the yellow that I required. The logo is stitch + slash; I machine stitched the pattern and then cut into the layers of the fabric, to expose the different colours and textures.
This was my final design which I had drawn and then I photographed and improved the contrast of the colours using photoshop. I love this final image as I feel it is effective in its aim of making the audience think of caring for and looking after a rescue dog.
This was part of a project exploring narrative imagery. I chose my dog as my subject as he was a rescue and the blue and yellow colours as they are the colours are the RSCPA and Dogs Trust.
This is my favourite life drawing which I have done as I enjoyed drawing the shape and the being able to fill it in with colour. I love the effect of the quite messy paint but it works well and looks effective.
I created this by creating printing blocks and printing the shape onto different coloured pieces of paper. My New York Wallpaper is vibrant and exciting and cool!
